Take control of your online profile
We’ve all been told the importance of making sure ours and our family’s social network profile privacy settings are up to date. But most of us use several different social networks, and it can sometimes feel hard to keep up with the changes to all the different security options available. It is also not always easy to tell what the different settings or parental restrictions mean for who can see what on your profile or account.
The UK Safer Internet Centre has read through the fine print of different social networking sites so that you don’t have to. Take control of your online profile with their handy checklists and find answers to questions such as:
- What is there about me on the web?
- How do I unfollow, delete, or report content?
- How do I block someone (in game)?
- Where can I go for further support?
- How do I set up parental controls?
