Summit Speakers 2024
Once again we welcome experts from around the world to participate in the INHOPE Summit 2024. Our hybrid conference will run over two days. The first day of the Summit will focus on the importance of societal change. Members of this year’s Summit will be joining to participate in active discussions to create and share messaging to tackle child sexual abuse and exploitation material online.

Speaker Biographies
Jenni Katzman, Microsoft
Jenni is a lawyer and policy expert who currently serves as a Senior Director at Microsoft where she leads the U.S. Government Affairs policy efforts on intellectual property and digital safety, as well as on issues related to reducing the risks posed by synthetic content. Prior to joining Microsoft, she served as General Counsel and Chief of Domestic Policy for Senator Ron Wyden. She was previously the Director of Policy and Program at the American Constitution Society. She also served in the Obama administration at the Department of Justice, White House Domestic Policy Council, and the Department of Education.
Samantha Woolfe, INHOPE
Samantha is the Partnerships and Expansion Lead at INHOPE. Expanding the network of hotlines hand-in-hand with INHOPE’s partners in industry, law enforcement, other civil society organisations and global institutions, in 2020 she has sometimes been at meetings on four continents in one week. At INHOPE for eight years and fighting for the online safety and protection of children for 15, she has worked at Insafe, EUN, ICMEC, advised various Ministries of Justice and FOSI, promoting digital citizenship and the protection of children from potentially harmful material online, prior to which she was a lobbyist for Political Intelligence's London office.
Rhiannon-Faye McDonald, Marie Collins Foundation
At MCF Rhiannon uses her lived experience of technology-assisted child sexual abuse to raise awareness of the impacts of child sexual abuse so that the professional response does no further harm. Rhiannon is passionate about improving outcomes for the victims and survivors of yesterday and the victims of today.
Mike Masnick, Copia Institute
Mike Masnick is the founder & editor of the popular Techdirt blog as well as the founder of the Silicon Valley think tank, the Copia Institute. In both roles, he explores the intersection of technology, innovation, policy, law, civil liberties, and economics. The NY Times described him as “something of a Silicon Valley oracle."
Emily Cashman Kirstein, Google
Emily leads child safety public policy at Google, working to ensure that children have safer and more enriching online experiences. Before joining Google, she led the policy team at Thorn, a tech-focused nonprofit committed to ending online child sexual abuse, establishing the organisation as a sought-after policy partner and thought leader both in the United States and globally. Previously, she served for seven years in multiple roles as a key aide to U.S Senator Jeanne Shaheen and worked as senior staff on several political campaigns in her home state of New Hampshire. Emily is an alum of the College of the Holy Cross and holds a master's in international relations from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
Robbert Hoving, Offlimits
Robbert Hoving is the President of Offlimits, an organisation that not only includes the hotline and helpline of the Safer Internet Center in the Netherlands but also works to prevent child sexual abuse with Stop it Now. Before this, he worked for the Dutch National Rapporteur on Trafficking in Human Beings and Sexual Violence against Children, the Public Prosecutor's Service, and started his career in the international hospitality industry.
John Pizzuro, Raven
John is the CEO of Raven, a 501(c)4 non-profit focused on legislative and policy solutions for child trafficking and child exploitation. John has been called on as a subject matter expert to testify in both the US Senate and US Congress and is consulted on child exploitation, Trafficking and Artificial Intelligence Policy.
Yi-Ling Chen, ECPAT Taiwan
Yi-Ling holds a master’s degree in health and welfare policy. She has dedicated nearly two decades to working with ECPAT Taiwan, focusing on sexual exploitation of children, human trafficking, online safety, and child rights issues. Yi-Ling also serves as a supervisory board member of ECPAT International.
Chris Cascio, University of Wisconsin
Chris Cascio is an Associate Professor in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Director of the Communication, Brain, and Behavior Lab, and Associate Director of the Mass Communication Research Center. His research uses neuroscience to understand when and how persuasion and social influence work.
Kristen Best, U.S. Department of Homeland Security
In her role as Principal Director, Ms. Best advances counter transnational organised crime programs and priorities within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) aligning them with broader federal government strategies. She oversees the development, evaluation, integration, and advocacy of DHS policies for countering transnational organised crime (CTOC), advising DHS senior leadership on all related mission areas. Additionally, Ms. Best leads the Department’s efforts to counter online child sexual exploitation and abuse, collaborating with the Department’s operational components, government and international partners, the technology industry, non-governmental organisations, and the National Security Council.
Jacqueline Beauchere, Snap
Jacqueline Beauchere is the Global Head of Platform Safety at Snap Inc. She represents the technology industry on the WeProtect Global Alliance’s international Policy Board, serves as Snap’s representative on both INHOPE's Advisory Board and the Funding Council of the Internet Watch Foundation, and is a member of Power of Zero's Steering Committee. Prior to Snap, she spent nearly 22 years at Microsoft, serving as that company's and industry's first Chief Online Safety Officer.
Jun Young Ro, Zepeto (Naver Z)
Jun previously worked as the investigations lead at Google, director of trust and safety at TikTok, financial crime investigations manager (anti-money laundering & counter-terrorist financing) at BNP Paribas & JPMorgan Chase, and intelligence analyst at the Department of Homeland Security. He received his Masters of Advanced Study in Criminology, Law, and Society from the University of California, Irvine, and B.A. in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland, College Park. Jun is also serving as a board member for a SOSA (Safe from Online Sex Abuse) and Selective Service System of the US.
Chris Hughes, IWF
Chris joined the IWF in 2012. He is responsible for the conscientious running of the hotline and championing staff welfare; he is the IWF’s key contact with Law Enforcement bodies in the UK and Internationally and Chris sits on several advisory groups. Chris additionally supports IWF’s engagement with industry Members.
Lauren Coffren, NCMEC
Lauren Coffren is an Executive Director of the Exploited Children Division at the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) in Alexandria, Virginia, and has been with NCMEC since 2006. Ms. Coffren oversees the Exploited Children Division operations including the CyberTipline and the Child Victim Identification Program.
Henry Adams, Resolver
Henry leads Trust & Safety partnerships and strategy at Resolver, a Kroll business. He has spent a decade helping teams mitigate risk in high-harm settings. A former Head of Intelligence with a background in counter terrorism, national policing operations and crisis negotiation, Henry helps platforms manage an ever-changing risk landscape.
Amy Ulucay, Discord
Amy Ulucay is an optimistic Trust and Safety leader with over a decade of experience across start-ups and global organizations such as Discord and TikTok. Known for driving impactful strategies, Amy manages global teams and designs innovative solutions across user privacy, minor safety, age assurance, and predator detection.
Ebony Tucker, TikTok
Ebony Tucker is the Exploitation and Abuse Partnerships Lead at TikTok. She has worked in sexual abuse prevention and response for over fifteen years, providing legal services to survivors and leading policy initiatives. Ebony has also served as an expert advisor to the Biden Foundation, Peace Corps, Uber, and SafeSport.
Sean Litton, Tech Coalition
Sean Litton is the President and CEO of the Tech Coalition (TC), the organisation leading the tech industry's fight against online sexual abuse and exploitation of children with over 30 member tech companies committed to the fight. Sean has worked on the front line of child protection for over 20 years, serving as the Global President of the International Justice Mission before joining the TC in 2021. Passionately committed to protecting children, Sean focuses his and the Tech Coalition's efforts on achieving tangible results to reduce the prevalence of abuse and safeguard children looking to enjoy the same online tools and services we all use to connect, share, and learn.
