Samantha Woolfe

Global Partnerships and Expansion Lead, joined INHOPE part-time in June 2011, full time since January 2014.

Why do you work at INHOPE?

I’m a natural connector and passionate about the central role of hotlines in every country. Leading network expansion and partnerships means using my experience to create positive impact while learning from inspirational colleagues around the globe.

What do you love about hiking?

Mountains are my passion. I climb and push myself to feel my heart pump harder, to reach a peak and feel on top of the world for a few weeks every year. I’ve always hiked but the need to do it at least annually came after 2001 when my mother took me to the Himalayas. We climbed the third highest mountain in the world. I feel alive and at one with planet earth when I reach a summit, so I continue to seek this thrill, usually in Europe these days. There’s nothing I want more than to pass the joy of mountains and nature on to my children.

What's a fun fact about you?

I love theatre and acted the part of Annie in The Miracle Worker when I lived in Washington DC.
