Diane Kirkland

Interim Head of Operations, joined INHOPE in March 2023.

Why did you move to the Netherlands?

I originally moved with my partner for professional reasons (with an adventurous slant), but we’ve stayed because we love the city and all the opportunities for exploration. Amsterdam is a vibrant city that has pushed us to expand our horizons while making us feel at home.

Why do you work at INHOPE?

I strongly believe in the mission of INHOPE and am inspired by the organisation’s unique position in fighting CSAM. I feel my personal principles align with INHOPE’s and I am excited to be a part of such a dedicated team.

What is a passion of yours?

Soccer or I should say football since we are in the Netherlands! I grew up playing and still enjoy playing for the WV-HEDW women’s first team in Oost!

What do you do outside of office hours?

You can often find me reading in a park or walking my dog, Louis. My partner and I also cook a lot and enjoy cycling around the city trying new restaurants and cafes in Amsterdam!
