INHOPE's Executive Director Presented at European Internet Forum Policy Breakfast

On April 27, INHOPE's Executive Director Veronica Donoso presented at the European Internet Forum event at the European Parliament, alongside our partners Europol and Missing Children Europe. The policy breakfast entitled ‘Children online: Internet, cybercrime and sexual abuse online’ was hosted by MEP Nathalie Griesbeck (FR, ALDE), and was co-organised by a team including MEP Julie Ward (UK, S&D) and MEP Michał Boni (PL, EPP).

Joint multistakeholder efforts, the public service value of reporting hotlines tackling online child sexual abuse material, alongside law enforcement and industry, as well as sustainable funding for national hotlines were high on the agenda.
Many thanks to our partners and friends at ‪EuroISPA‬ who co-organised the event and made this happen. We are ‪#‎StrongerTogether‬.‬‬

The European Internet Forum released a short video in the context of the event. The video features the hosting MEP Nathalie Griesbeck (FR, ALDE) and the three panellists, Delphine Moralis for Missing Children Europe, Cathal Delaney for EUROPOL and INHOPE's very own Veronica Donoso giving their general reaction to the question “what actions should be taken to protect children online?”
