Conference ROAR: Challenges in providing support to victims of cybercrime
On November 3rd 2020 in Lisbon, The Portuguese Association of Victim Support - APAV is holding the Conference ROAR: Challenges in providing support to victims of cybercrime.
This Conference takes place as part of Project ROAR: Empowering victims of cybercrime, co-financed by the Internal Security Fund – Police - European Commission, in which APAV counts with the collaboration of national and European partners, namely the Portuguese Prosecutor General’s Office, the National Republican Guard, Altice Portugal, ACTEDO Romania and Weisser Ring Germany.
This event is intended for judicial authorities, law enforcement agencies, representatives of civil society organisations, representatives of industry, media, and members of academia. This conference will provide a unique opportunity to learn about transnational practices and discuss the challenges experienced in investigating cybercrime and supporting its victims, highlighting the importance of multi-sectoral cooperation in preventing cybercrime.
