Bulgarian SIC developed a platform for replacement teachers for schools

The Applied Research and Communications Fund – operator of the Hotline and coordinator of the national Safer Internet Centre, developed and provided to the schools and the Ministry of Education an online platform for search-and-find of replacement teachers.

As the Covid pandemic continues to take a sad toll among teachers, schools started to struggle with the need for replacement teachers to take over the remote learning process while schools in the country are still closed.

With the voluntary cooperation from the IT company Webservices – member of the Advisory board, a platform was developed to allow retired teachers but also any person who has the needed qualification, to register, and to the schools - the possibility to place requests for replacement at a very short notice.

The replacing teachers will also have access to information and guidelines how to make secure the remote learning process depending on the platform they prefer to use. Find out more on the Bulgarian SIC's website.
