About

Where do perpetrators communicate with each other online? While you might believe that these interactions mainly take place on the dark web, this isn't always the case. Often, conversations between offenders start on open platforms, such as blogs or video-sharing platforms, where they curate collections of “legal content". Within these collections is content of interest to predators (COITP), which contain innocent photos of children taken from online.

David Hunter, the Vice President of Trust & Safety at Resolver, a Kroll business, will guide attendees through how these collections are curated and the implications of COITP existing on open platforms.

During this webinar, we will explore how predators hide in plain sight and identify the risks of COITP existing online. David will highlight how COITP acts as a gateway for predators to connect, distribute CSAM and operate illegal activity online. With data insights from Resolver, David will explain the benefit of assessing multiple content pieces at once to detect these legal collections and highlight the need to adapt content moderation strategies to efficiently tackle legal loopholes.

Join us on April 10 to uncover the dark side of the open web and understand efficient strategies to stay ahead of predators online.

This webinar is designed specifically for hotline analysts, content analysts, industry, law enforcement, and policymakers
