About

Ada Volodko, Global Intelligence Investigator at Coinbase, will take the analysts of the INHOPE network on a deep dive into how CSAM threat actors use cryptocurrency and what Coinbase does to disrupt, prevent, and report them. Ada will demonstrate the various prevention and investigation methods Coinbase has developed, as well as how they currently report these cases to law enforcement.

Coinbase has established several partnerships to collaborate in the fight against CSAM. One of these partnerships includes the Internet Watch Foundation. Ada will illustrate how this partnership works and what the exchange of intelligence between the partners entails. She will also explain how working together has benefited both the IWF hotline and Coinbase in their respective roles, and discuss how other hotlines can potentially work with Coinbase.

Through a short demo of a real-life CSAM investigation, Ada will provide insights into how their investigative and preventative methods are applied. These insights can prove valuable to hotline analysts as well as LEA investigators and improve the intelligence exchange between stakeholders.

This webinar is only accessible to INHOPE network hotline analysts and local law enforcement investigators. Registration is subject to approval.
