Public Awareness Campaign: Online Hate and the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024

Point de Contact has launched its online campaign “#JOPSansHaine (#OPGWithoutHate)” This hate-free online campaign, which targets the general public, is led by a collective of six NGOs, under the coordination of Point de Contact.


The group is committed to ensuring the safety of online users and to taking an active role in the fight against the spread of hate, by by strengthening their strategic surveillance on social networks. The aim of the campaign is to raise awareness of the risks of an increased amount of hateful content online during this period, and to provide advice on the right actions to take in response to these risks: reporting, spreading positive content and taking legal action for any damage suffered. The NGOs wish to promote the values of sport such as respect, solidarity and inclusivity, but also to make digital platforms more responsible in the fight against online hate, and federate an active and sustainable community against online hate.
