Nurbegim Azatulloeva

Project Associate joined INHOPE in February 2023.

Why do you work at INHOPE?

I came to the Netherlands to do my Master's in Health Economics and Management at Erasmus University Rotterdam. I successfully graduated in 2021 and pursued my career at MercyCorps on projects related to educating and empowering children and youth. Today, I am delighted to be part of the INHOPE projects: AviAtor and Stronger Together as a Project Associate. I am keen to work for children's online safety and engage with other professionals of like mind.

How has your background shaped the way you are?

Life is a journey full of challenges and hardships though life is a source of joy and bliss. As a child, I grew up in the post-civil war period, and my parents worked for the police. They aimed to protect civilians and maintain peace. Although hardships were present, we were able to maintain happy family time and hope for a better future. That shaped me as a person to be an explorer, believer and advocate of a better world.

What's your favourite inspirational quote?

"We must accept finite disappointment, but never lose infinite hope." - Martin Luther King Jr.
