In 2021, the Dyżurnet.pl team's experts analysed 6778 reports of suspected Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM). 2069 of these materials were classified as CSAM, i.e. it was confirmed that they show the sexual abuse of a child.


Although the number of materials classified as CSAM in 2021 was lower than the year before (2517), the scale of this phenomenon should be worrying. Especially important in this context is the phenomenon of self-generated sexual materials by children. Experts stress that self-generated content does not mean that it was produced voluntarily. Photos and videos showing the sexual abuse of a child are often created as a result of blackmail, extortion, and coercion. Children themselves are mostly unable to assess the risks and consequences of creating the material.

In 2021 Dyżurnet.pl introduced a new, very helpful tool to report illegal content online. This is a report plugin. The tool is easy to download on both Firefox and Chrome browsers. When any user comes across illegal or dangerous content online, it is enough to use the "plugin" to report the website directly to Dyżurnet.pl. The advantage of this tool is also the fact that it enables the automatic transfer of technical information, such as a referer, which makes it easier to reach the reported content.
