APLE Cambodia, INHOPE's hotline and leading in online child protection in Cambodia, will proudly join the global Safer Internet Day campaign by conducting an event on February 11th, in which youth would be encouraged to participate in a forum/debate about online safety.

APLE will disseminate the SID messages during the campaign period (from January 27th to February 11th) and produce T-shirts to promote the campaign. The Community Engagement Team will also promote the event via radio talk, a media channel still very relevant in the country.

In addition, APLE will continue to advocate to partner organizations (including schools and NGOs) about the importance of Internet safety and organize meetings to discuss joint activities and resources available. The joint activities might include outdoors sports to promote more child-to-child healthy interactions, video production for internet safety and discussions on what can be done to prevent children from being sexually exploited online
