As we usher in a new year, the Action Against Child Sexual Abuse Initiative (ACSAI) celebrates a year of impactful advocacy, partnerships, and milestones in empowering women, children, and young people.

ACSAI proudly participated in the WeProtect Global Alliance Summit 2024, emphasising international collaboration to safeguard children online. Key discussions included balancing technological innovation with robust safeguards, localising campaigns for vulnerable groups, and amplifying youth and survivor voices. A highlight was partnering with WeProtect in producing a film amplifying young voices, with anticipation for the 2025 launch of the #MyFutureMyVoice project to further empower youth against Online Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (OCSEA).

Their latest campaign, directly translated to "Tell Person, I Go Report Am," marked an impactful end-of-project engagement, showcasing lessons learned in raising awareness, youth advocacy, and CSAM reporting improvements. This event also celebrated the launch of the ECPAT Country Overview on CSEA in Nigeria, a pivotal resource for action against child sexual exploitation.

ACSAI wrapped up the year by participating in the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, reaffirming its commitment to a world free from violence against women and girls. With renewed determination, ACSAI enters the New Year, continuing its mission to create a safer, equitable future for all.
