Webinar: CSAM's Gordian Knot - challenges & opportunities in financial intelligence
Schedule & Registration
Date: Tuesday, July 8th
Time: 16:00 CEST / 3 PM BST / 10 AM EDT / 11 PM KST
Speakers: Sally Frank, Program Manager for Anti-Human Exploitation at Block, Megan Gonzales Global Head of Financial Crimes at Block, and Henry Adams, Director at Resolver Trust & Safety.
About
One of the most complex and persistent challenges in tackling child sexual abuse material (CSAM) is identifying the individuals who profit from its trade. In these cases, the first signal may not be an image - it may be a financial transaction. So how can we detect what cannot be seen?
In this webinar, industry experts from Block will explore how financial intelligence is used to identify, report, and prevent child sexual exploitation. The session will highlight the crucial role of financial data and cross-sector collaboration in advancing global child protection efforts and how Cash App is putting these approaches into action. Discover how financial signals are used in practice, and learn how Compliance and Trust & Safety teams, law enforcement, and financial institutions can work together to disrupt networks that profit from child abuse.
This webinar is designed for INHOPE member hotlines, partners, policymakers, law enforcement, government agencies, NGOs, trust and safety professionals, and others working in child protection.
