About

Online child sexual exploitation and abuse (OCSEA) thrives in the gaps - gaps in definitions, in reporting, and in accountability. These gaps have real implications for children, and for the child helplines and hotlines working every day to protect them.

Child Helpline International and INHOPE are teaming up with the OECD to unpack their 2025 benchmarking study on platform transparency. The study looks at 50 of the biggest global services and platforms in which CSEA is found, highlighting how different online platforms define CSEA, how often they publish transparency reports, and how clearly they explain their prevention measures.

In this webinar, you will hear directly from the OECD on the latest global evidence, as well as a frontline hotline and child helpline on how transparency reporting affects their daily practice. The session will close with a Q&A.

This webinar is intended for professionals in the child online safety space, with particular focus on hotlines, helplines, and other NGOs.
