Mick Moran is the CEO of the Irish Internet Hotline. He joined the INHOPE Board in December 2025.
I have been working in the online child safety space for over 30 years. In 2024 I was appointed as the CEO of the Irish Internet Hotline, which is a great honour and privilege.
I believe in giving back and understand fully the importance of INHOPE in the wider global battle against CSAM.
INHOPE faced a challenging year in 2025. The staff more than anyone else took the brunt of that. I see my going on to the board as being part of the rebuild of INHOPE, a rejuvenation of their belief in the vision and mission which will brush off onto us the membership so that we can step forward in 2026 into a new and better INHOPE.
To be of service to the staff and the membership. I would also love to engage law enforcement in members countries to help them to understand the value that the INHOPE member can bring to their work.
Taken in the view of the changes to the regulatory environment, I think I would see us building on the excellent work done by the staff already which put's INHOPE at the center of DSA and the discussions on the upcoming Regulation to prevent and combat child sexual abuse material. We will hopefully, finally, see the sunny uplands of many years work with INHOPE and their members recognised and appreciated for their work.
