We’re pleased to welcome Pablo Sandri to the INHOPE team as our Programme Operations and Policy Support Intern. With a background in Sociology and Psychology and a particular interest in the digital world, Pablo is looking forward to learning more about online safety and contributing to INHOPE’s international network of hotlines.
I’m 21 and Italian-Spanish. I’m finishing my Bachelor’s degree in Sociology at the end of October and am currently also studying Psychology. I’m always looking for something new to learn, whether that means discovering a new topic, culture or place. I’m particularly interested in the digital world and social media, and in understanding how they shape people and society.
My interest in INHOPE started during my time at Telefono Azzurro, the Italian hotline, when a colleague first told me about the organisation. I then started learning more about its work and became interested in how an international network of hotlines works together to address issues such as child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
What particularly attracted me to INHOPE was the international scale of its work, its connection with technology, and the opportunity to contribute to projects involving different countries and organisations.
I’ve been playing basketball for around 11 years, so that takes up a good part of my free time. I also enjoy discovering new places and cultures, playing chess and baking cakes whenever I get the chance.
